Navigation controls

First I have to say this canvas is absolutely mind blowing. A true form of creative and world-sized collaboration! I don't know how I could discover it only now...
Some time ago I built a flash based "The Infinite Page" which was an infinite grid where artists could upload their work, but I think this is even better since you can draw anything anywhere.

Ok so for the suggestion, I was wondering if that was technically possible to add a "smooth scrolling" function to the middle mouse button?
For exemple when you open a very large image fully zoomed in firefox you can navigate in it very smoothly that way.
I think this would be quite more comfortable and feel even more "infinite".

EDIT: actually it's called "autoScroll" in firefox
I'm talking about that
I also noticed you got that cool shortcut on the flash viewer to zoom in and out with numpad +/-, would be great to have that in html version as well, for those who don't have a wheel on their mouse.

I would also love this feature... but I think it's very difficult to implentate this, there is so much data to load in the background...
but maybe in a few years? :ugeek:
